Brilliant Schools started on November 05, 1988 with 26 pupils as lesson having A. C. Okoroha and Mr. A Ajapong as first academic staff. Launching of the school was done on same day.
Brilliant Academy was born September, 2000 at 10, Adebari Close, Iloro Agege. The taught came to the proprietress after many years of parents request for her to start Secondary School. So that their children can continue their education. She saw the need to tackle the challenges in the education sector of this country. It is obvious that for quite some time now, the standard of Education has been a subject of severe criticism, some are of the view though critical, that the standard of education has seriously fallen beyond conceivable dept. But a negligible few are of the opinion that the standard has declined but the bases of education are expanding and becoming more embracing. It was based on this last reason that Mrs. Oparah the proprietress looked at the profession to be a call and is determined to help up lift the standard of our educational system. Brilliant Academy is approved by the Lagos State Government.
