A CAPSULE HISTORY OF BRILLIANT SCHOOLS

5th NOVEMBER 1988
The school started off with 26 pupils as lesson having A.C. Okoroha and Mr. A Ajapong as first academic staff. Launching of the school was done on same day.

21st May 1989
Visit to Lagos State Television to participate in “Tiny Taught”

4th June 1989
The lesson was up graded to Nur/Pry School. Due to sudden increase in number of pupils, approval process commenced. Fire protection requirements were met and inspection was done by Federal Fire Service Department and certification was made.

30th September 1989
Visit to LTV Channel 8, Ikeja on "Kiddies Time"

18th April 1990
Second PTA meeting was held and Board of Directors appointed with Engr. N.O. Onwemelu as the chairman.

6th July 1990
Brilliant had competition with St. Ann Private School at NTA in which we won and that gave us an edge over some schools.

21st September 1990
Parents Teachers Association was inaugurated

19th July 1990
Visit to NTA Channel 7, Yaba on "Kiddies Times"

22nd August, 1990
A play of "Merchant of Venice" was acted by pupil and first almanac of the school was launched.

5th October 1992
Brilliant Nursery Primary approval was secured

14th March 2002 & 2004
Nestle food company sponsored our Inter House Sport

6th December 2006
Excursion to Nigeria Airport Authority

8th December 2006
Vocational students visited Indomie

7th March 2008
The school had an excursion to Olumo Rock, Abeokuta, Ogun State
